Role Overview
We are looking for a Junior Quantity Surveyor to join our growing commercial team. Whether you’re a recent graduate or have some early career experience, we’d love to hear from you! You will assist in the financial and contractual management of our luxury fit-out projects, supporting their successful delivery from pre-construction through to final account.
Key Responsibilities (for Junior Level)
- Assist with the preparation of cost plans, estimates, and tender submissions
- Support the evaluation and management of subcontractor and supplier packages
- Help carry out valuations and manage interim applications for payment
- Monitor project costs and provide detailed reporting to senior management
- Assist with contract administration and procurement processes
- Help identify and manage variations, claims, and risk items
- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and consultants to ensure budgetary goals are met
Requirements
- A relevant degree or qualifications in Quantity Surveying or a related field
- Some experience in construction, ideally with exposure to high-end fit-out or interior projects (though we are happy to consider graduates)
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Good communication skills and a commercial mindset
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with construction contracts and cost control processes (desirable, but not essential)
- Full UK driving licence (preferred)
