An exciting opportunity exists within our client for a Planning Analyst with strong project managing skills to support a fast-growing FMCG until the end of the year. This role requires an immediate start and is initially for a period of 6 months on a part-time basis (3 or 4 days a week).

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating business planning processes between teams from across the business in line with 2030 strategy and deliver against financial targets.
  • Support and facilitate the annual business planning and budgeting process.
  • Develop and align the critical path for each part of the planning cycle and hold teams accountable for delivering against these timelines.
  • Effectively manage stakeholders, including at Board level, adapting their style as needed.
  • Bring together teams from across the business, facilitating sessions to drive great discussions and decision-making.
  • Lead the creation and sign-off of key business documents.
  • Identify and embed improvements to the annual planning cycle, taking learnings onboard and making sure processes are efficient and effective.

Skills

  • Strong project manager – into the detail of the timeline, confident working under pressure and can calmly bring things back on track if they fall behind.
  • A great facilitator and communicator – comfortable facilitating meetings with large groups of senior stakeholders, driving the right discussions to make progress against the timeline.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships across the business and a natural team player.
  • Ability to influence and challenge across the business to get the best results, holding senior stakeholders to account for hitting deadlines every week.
  • Confident with numbers and understand how a business P&L works.
