I'm delighted to be partnered with a market leading chemical manufacturing business who are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team in Alfreton. This role offers an attractive package of £65,000 - £75,000 (+ 15% bonus & car allowance).
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the maintenance team, ensuring the upkeep of equipment, and responding to breakdowns efficiently.
What you'll do:
- Coordinate the maintenance team for general/preventative maintenance & upkeep of equipment
- Respond to breakdowns & requests for repairs from Production Manager, Production Supervisors & Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Develop preventative & service schedules for equipment & ensure compliance with safety, environmental, legal & quality standards
- Supervise & assign the work of Maintenance Engineers ensuring they are qualified & trained for all designated tasks
- Maintain the site according to COMAH & IPPC directives following the Major Accident Prevention Policy (MAPP) process
- Ensure that the Permit to Work system is implemented & maintained
