We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Manager to oversee critical construction phases, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role:

  • Leading and managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and schedules.
  • Championing a world-class health, safety, and environmental (HSE) culture on site, ensuring full compliance with all relevant legislation and project requirements.
  • Supervising and coordinating direct staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
  • Monitoring progress against the project programme, identifying potential risks and delays, and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
  • Ensuring all works are carried out to the required quality standards, implementing and managing quality control procedures.
  • Managing site resources, including labour, plant, and materials, to optimise efficiency and control costs.
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including daily diaries, progress reports, and safety documentation.
  • Liaising effectively with project managers, engineers, commercial teams, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Resolving any on-site issues or challenges in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conducting regular site inspections and toolbox talks.

Essential Requirements:

  • Valid CSCS Black Card (Manager)
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience working with Tier 1 contractors.

Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.
