My client, a reputable sub-contractor specialising in reinforced concrete (RC) and large-scale infrastructure, is seeking an experienced Freelance Site Engineer to support delivery on a Converter Station project in Selby.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
- RC Basements
- 27m high slipform Walls
- Ground Slabs
- Drainage & Associated Civils
THE ROLE:
- Setting Out for RC works – including basements, slabs, and vertical slipform structures
- High-Level QA: Maintaining and compiling QA documentation to stringent standards
- Working to tight tolerances – critical for the integrity of structural elements
- Coordination with site teams and subcontractors to ensure timely and accurate delivery
- Supporting the management of temporary works and concrete pour sequences
THE CANDIDATE:
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer on RC frame or heavy civils projects
- Strong QA and document control skills
- Competent in using Total Stations, AutoCAD, and digital QA systems
- Experience with slipform construction
- Valid CSCS Card
- Professional Attitude and Strong Communication (Written & Verbal)
