Overall Purpose of the Role: To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Commercial teams, contributing to the smooth operation of purchasing and commercial processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Commercial team by managing and maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Proactively identify high-quality business opportunities with customers aligned to our long-term goals and values.
  • Process and relay information to relevant stakeholders to ensure the progression of works.
  • Maintain and manage commercial documentation and filing systems (both digital and manual).
  • Accurately input and retrieve data using systems such as IGO and Accuserv.
  • Ensure that all administrative processes deliver value to both internal teams and external customers.
  • Adhere to project governance, group policies, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with the maintenance of builder profiles and contractor competency records.
  • Deliver timely and accurate data submissions.
  • Support the development and implementation of commercial processes.
  • Serve as a point of contact for clients and customers, promoting positive working relationships.
  • Help resolve queries and complaints promptly to support the achievement of commercial targets.
  • Undertake any reasonable tasks assigned by the line manager.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in the housing and property sector.
  • Knowledge of the construction industry.
  • 1–2 years of experience working with Schedule of Rates (SOR) contracts is essential.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
