We are looking for a Class 1 Shunter Driver for our client's site in Ashford.

Your role as a Class 1 shunter driver will involve:

  • Shunting trailers in and out of bays
  • Moving trailers around the yard
  • Ensuring the safe and legal operation of your vehicle at all times
  • Escorting drivers initially to the waiting area
  • Taking keys from the vehicles to the bays
  • Completing paperwork for any trailer moves to ensure any damage is reported prior to moves to protect against false claims

As an HGV Class 1 shunter driver, you will have:

  • 1 year C+E experience is a must
  • No more than 6 points
  • Digi card and CPC
  • Previous experience of shunting is essential

Essential Information:

  • PAYE Rate ph - up to £18.54
  • Working Hours - (Apply online only)
  • Working Days - 4 on 4 off
