We are currently searching for a Finishing Manager on a large student accommodation scheme in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent. This £150m scheme is in need of an experienced Finishing Manager who is capable of delivering an extensive internals package, working alongside a Senior Site Manager.
The role:
- Oversee all finishing and fit-out stages, including plastering, painting, flooring, ceilings, and final installations.
- Subcontractor Coordination – Schedule, direct, and supervise subcontractors delivering interior packages.
- Quality Control – Ensure high-quality workmanship and finishes in line with client specifications and project standards.
- Snagging & De-snagging – Lead snagging processes, manage resolution of defects, and ensure areas are handed over snag-free.
- Health & Safety Oversight – Maintain safety standards during finishing works, especially in confined or occupied areas.
- Handover Preparation – Prepare completed areas for final inspections and ensure documentation is in place for smooth handover.
Required:
- 3+ years’ experience specialising in internal fitout packages, ideally in the residential sector.
- Main contractor experience is beneficial but not essential.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are essential.
