An established and reputable design & build contractor is looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to help drive project acquisition across the Thames Valley and surrounding areas. Known for delivering high-quality workplace interiors and commercial fit-out projects, the company is now looking to expand its client base and increase market share.
Role Overview:
As Business Development Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of the company’s growth — responsible for identifying new project opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers, and converting leads into qualified prospects. This role is suited to someone commercially driven, with a strong understanding of the design & build or fit-out space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound activity (calls, LinkedIn, networking, events).
- Research and identify key target clients across sectors including tech, finance, life sciences, and professional services.
- Qualify inbound leads and build rapport with potential clients.
- Represent the business at meetings, pitches, and industry events.
