We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organised Technical Administrator to join our Building Safety Division. The company currently has a position available for a Senior Technical Administrator in the Safety Division, based in Birstall to liaise with clients and ensure all administration procedures for the department are compliant and adhered to. Candidates must have a confident and professional manner, have administration experience in building control or building safety, and have experience leading a team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a fast-paced, professional environment where your knowledge of regulatory processes and attention to detail will help ensure the effective operation of our building safety function. As a key member of the team, you will provide technical and administrative support across a range of building safety projects.
Responsibilities:
- Your responsibilities will include managing documentation
- Coordinating with inspectors and consultants
- Maintaining compliance records, and supporting the delivery of high-quality building safety services
- The role will oversee one Administrator
- Client management
- Contract administration – preparation of contracts for new clients
- Framework management
- Generating quotes – preparation of fee proposal documents
- PQQ management
- Document control
- Preparation of compliance report
- Attend weekly invoice meetings
- You will be required to carry out appraisals for the team as well as manage holiday and absence
Skills and Experience:
- Experience working in building control or building safety is essential
- Experience of client management
- Experience of leading a team
- Self-motivated, organised with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to work on own initiative. Great with people
