Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Plumber to join their ever-expanding team. You will report to the Repairs Manager.
Responsibilities of the Plumber:
- Undertake all aspects of plumbing work and any additional works that may be required to affect a first time fix repair in its entirety.
- Perform duties in accordance with all appropriate legislation, best technical practice, work specifications and the priorities set out by the organisation.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude and commitment towards combined trade flexibility, progressing to achieve multi-skill status.
- Work efficiently and effectively both as an individual and as part of the team in a professional, respectful and flexible manner - meeting the demands and expectations of the organisation, its tenants and other appropriate parties.
- Complete tasks that may fall outside the vocational scopes of work in line with the flexible working duties below.
- Support PRS commitment to continually improve service delivery to tenants through a more generic and integrated approach to its repairs service.
This means that I will use all my experience, aptitude and skill in a flexible, customer focused and friendly approach, while taking full ownership, being responsible, and accountable for providing a high quality all-round best service to tenants and other clients.
Requirements of the Plumber:
- At least 5 years Plumbing experience.
- City & Guilds trade qualifications or equivalent.
- Social housing experience.
- Able to work on existing barrel pipework from male/female irons into copper pipe.
- Be able to work on own initiative or part of a team.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Asbestos Awareness Certificate.
- Full UK driving licence.
