Are you a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor looking for locum/temp work? We have an opportunity for a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to join a firm in Stafford ASAP on an ongoing locum basis for around 4-6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle all types of residential property transactions (sales, purchases, leaseholds, new builds, remortgages, shared ownership, and transfers of equity) from start to finish.
  • Keep clients updated, answer their questions, and guide them through the process clearly and professionally.
  • Review contracts, title documents, searches, mortgage offers, and other paperwork to make sure everything is in order.
  • Prepare contracts, transfer forms, and reports for clients and other parties involved.
  • Make sure all work follows legal rules, firm policies, and CQS standards. Keep accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Work confidently with digital systems and electronic files (ideally familiar with LEAP or similar).

Requirements:

  • Able to manage a broad range of residential property matters independently - including sales, purchases, leaseholds, new builds, shared ownership, and equity transfers - from instruction through to completion.
