The Project
Mace has made a commitment to improving the number of ex-military personnel that join our ranks. In 2020 we were awarded the Defence Employers Recognition Scheme Gold Award. This prestigious accolade – awarded to only a select group of committed companies – highlights Mace\’s unwavering dedication to supporting ex-military personnel, serving reservists and their families. Mace would like to create opportunities across our business which includes sectors such as defence, local government, education and healthcare, nuclear and a growing portfolio of data centres across Europe. The Mace Military Network is established as one of the Mace inclusion networks and continue to add huge value to the wider business with their commitment to supporting charities and sharing their experience and diverse skills helping to shape us as an inclusive organisation. We are currently developing a training programme tailored for service leavers, designed to accelerate their learning and support their transition into the built environment.
