My client is a long established Legal 500 law firm based in Kent, with offices across the region. They are looking for a Conveyancer/Conveyancing Solicitor to join their team.
The successful applicant will be expected to act for a range of clients dealing with all manner of residential property matters on their own caseload.
Required Skills & Experience / Responsibilities:- Exposure of handling a high volume caseload of conveyancing matters.
- Experience with Sales & Purchases of Freehold and Leasehold properties, Re-mortgages and Transfers of Equity.
- Exposure to New Build Transactions and Shared Ownership Schemes desirable.
The successful candidate will be IT literate and have experience with Case Management Systems along with use of the Land Registry Portal.
Person Specification:- Ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to organise and run a busy caseload and meet deadlines
- Ability and willingness to help and encourage less senior members of the department
- Co-operative and helpful attitude within a team environment
- Diligent and conscientious approach to work
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm with a one hour break for lunch.
Salary: negotiable up to £45k, dependent on experience. There is scope for development and progression within the firm.
