Job Title: Science Teacher (Physics or Chemistry specialism) Location: East of England, Suffolk, Stanstead Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Salary: £31650 – £49084 Per annum Qualifications: PGCE, QTS or QTLS, Degree in Science Company Branding: Good Ofsted rating Sixth form on site Development opportunities Job Duties: The Science Teacher will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons in either Physics or Chemistry, preparing and implementing schemes of work, and assessing students\’ progress. They will also be required to actively contribute to the school\’s extracurricular activities and participate in parents\’ evenings and staff meetings. Required Qualifications: Applicants must hold a PGCE, QTS or QTLS, along with a Degree in Science. Previous experience in teaching Science at the secondary level is essential. Education: A Degree in Science is required, along with a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS or QTLS). Experience: Previous experience teaching Science at the secondary level is necessary. Knowledge and Skills: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the UK Science curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire and engage students in the subject. Working Conditions: The Science Teacher will work on a contract basis, with full-time hours expected.
