Audit & Accounts Senior Description

Due to a mix of organic growth and acquisitions, a leading regional firm of chartered accountants is looking to recruit an Accounts and Audit Senior into a newly created role within their Liverpool Office. This award-winning firm works with a wide range of clients from large corporates turning over £400m, through to sole traders and SMEs across a range of sectors including solicitors, retail, motor and leisure and has an excellent reputation in the market. Many of the firm\’s senior management team have progressed through the firm from training contracts. Ambitious growth plans mean there are exceptional opportunities for development available for candidates who are looking for longer term career progression to management and director level. Ideally you will have gained at least 3 years\’ experience within a Top 20 or large independent practice and recently completed or close to completing ACA / ACCA studies. Applications from Big 4 / Top 10 candidates are welcomed. The firm offers a challenging and varied client base so you will still benefit from working with large corporates and household names, without the pressure of Big 4 / Top 10 / Top20, giving you more time to concentrate on your studies. You will also be able to diversify your experience by gaining exposure to accounts preparation and corporation tax. If you are currently working in general practice, you will be able to develop your experience by working with a larger and more technically challenging client base.
