Finance Manager

Placing Interim Senior Finance and Accountancy Systems Specialists across the UK

We are looking for a Finance Manager to contribute significantly to the development of a finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑moving and fast‑growing Consumer Services business.

We require a Qualified Management Accountant with PE experience and a technical ability with in depth experience to reconcile complex accounts and produce detailed financial reporting.

Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Hybrid working is offered with access to Brighton weekly. Initial 6‑month contract. Rate: £500‑£550 per day inside IR35.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the finance operations of the department specifically purchase ledger control activities, international control and external query management.
• Assist in the production of monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations for Financial Controller review and sign off.
• Responsible for the preparation of financial statements for audit requirements.
• Help with completing tax compliance (sales tax, R&D, income and corporate tax) for the group together with ensuring all payment deadlines are met.
• Ensure that reconciliations are complete and investigate and resolve differences.

• Proven & demonstrable technical ability.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to reconcile complex accounts.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Flexible working approach and able to prioritise.
• Customer focused and committed department objectives.
• European and US Finance experience is desirable.
