Our client — an innovative startup at the intersection of blockchain and gaming — is building a decentralised platform powered by the TON blockchain. They’re looking for a Smart Contract Engineer (or an experienced backend engineer eager to move into Web3) to help architect and implement core smart contract functionality. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working on secure, modular contracts, particularly for RNG-based game logic, asset tracking, and value transfer mechanisms. You’ll collaborate closely with DevOps and backend engineers in a modern serverless stack, with exposure to TACT, Solidity, Rust, and Move.
About the Company: Our client is a well-funded Web3 venture backed by leaders in gaming and crypto. Their mission is to redefine the online gambling experience by integrating cutting-edge blockchain infrastructure with scalable, user-focused products. You’ll be joining a compact, senior team with the freedom to influence technical direction and contribute directly to a rapidly evolving space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop smart contracts using TACT or equivalent languages like Solidity, Rust, or Move
- Ensure contracts are modular, secure, upgradeable, and deterministic
- Maintain smart contract interfaces and collaborate across frontend/backend functions
- Support testnets, write comprehensive test coverage, and work with audit partners
- Translate product logic into robust on-chain systems
Requirements:
- 2+ years of smart contract development (e.g., Solidity, Rust, Cairo, Move)
- Strong grasp of blockchain fundamentals — including gas optimization, on-chain/off-chain patterns, and consensus mechanisms
- Experience designing modular, event-driven systems with upgrade paths
- Sound understanding of security best practices in smart contract development
- Eagerness to learn new blockchain platforms, especially TON and TACT
Bonus Points:
- Background in gaming logic, lotteries, or staking mechanisms
- Open-source contributions to Web3 projects (DeFi, NFT, etc.)
- Prior hands-on work with TON, TACT, or related tooling
