The Opportunity: We are seeking a talented and experienced Group Finance Manager to provide robust financial oversight and strategic support across the group. This role will ensure accurate reporting, effective controls, and informed decision-making to drive sustainable growth. You will partner with business units and central functions, leading group-wide financial planning, analysis, and reporting to achieve financial targets and optimize performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the daily operations of the finance team.
- Coach and train team members to empower their growth and development.
- Enhance team efficiency by creating and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proactively manage team resources.
- Partner with General Managers to meet financial objectives (labour, COGS, EBITDA).
- Foster a high-performing, motivated finance team aligned with company values.
- Ensure complete month-end and year-end closing for all entities.
- Draft P&L and full BS reconciliation reviews with the Head of Finance by WD+3.
- Cascade Management Accounts to General Managers with detailed nominal listing by WD+4.
- Ensure BS reconciliations are fully supported with backups and variances explained.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations.
- Review and chair monthly P&L meetings.
- Conduct fortnightly debtor meetings and monthly credit meetings.
- Own financial forecasts for operational business.
- Assist with the cashflow process.
- Participate in the annual budgeting process.
- Assist in financial audits.
- Develop strategic partnerships with General Managers and Senior Leadership, delivering data-driven insights.
- Support the creation of new initiatives, expansions, and investments.
- Support Lamington Group's sustainability initiatives, including One Planet Living.
- Maintain Lamington Group's B-Corp status.
- Support wider ESG initiatives and reporting.

- Financial Expertise: Proficient in accounting, financial reporting, intercompany reconciliation, FP&A, and financial controls.
- Leadership & Management: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop finance teams.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Skilled in communication and collaboration to provide financial insights.
- Operational Excellence: Experienced in process improvement and implementing SOPs.
