Our client is a well-established multi-disciplinary consultancy who have recently secured a contract in East London to deliver a high volume of stock condition surveys across their client's residential portfolio. We are looking for a number of Stock Condition Surveyors to join their team on a pay-per-survey basis for a period of up to 6 months.
You will conduct surveys on domestic properties to establish condition, age, repairs and remaining life of building components, as well as energy characteristics and legislative compliance.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Prior experience in undertaking stock condition and energy surveys within a social housing environment
- Good working knowledge of HHSRS
- Strong organisation and time management skills with the ability to achieve target workloads
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A high degree of IT literacy to be able to submit reports post-inspection
This role offers a degree of flexibility and would be ideal for somebody who has carried out a similar role in a housing association / local authority setting. All candidates will be subject to a DBS check should they be successful at interview.
