About the Role

Are you an experienced Legal Secretary looking for your next role in a respected Legal 500 firm? I am currently working with a leading law firm in Brierley Hill to recruit a Legal Secretary who thrives in a busy, collaborative environment. This position would be supporting all the departments within the firm and allow you to do something new everyday. If you’re interested in a different areas of law, organised, proactive, and confident with dictation and document production, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Day To Day Tasks

• Checking and managing digital dictation queues throughout the day, prioritising tasks across departments
• Supporting fee earners with administrative and secretarial duties
• Creating and amending legal documents using track changes and standard templates
• Handling e-filing and hard copy filing, document production, and bundle preparation
• Liaising with the PA team, other secretaries, and office assistants to share tasks and meet deadlines
• Taking initiative in responding to queries and maintaining high client care standards

Experience

• Previous Private Client Legal Secretary experience would be beneficially but isn't essential
• Accurate typing speed of 60+ wpm
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, AdobePro, and Excel
• Exceptional organisation and communication skills
• A team player with a positive, proactive attitude and the ability to remain calm under pressure
