Our client, a leading multinational bank, is seeking a Managing Director to join the Sponsor Coverage team as a key member focused on the UK market. The role involves originating and executing sponsor-led transactions, managing relationships with financial sponsors, and collaborating with internal teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate, coordinate, and manage relationships between the bank and Financial Sponsors, mainly infrastructure investors.
- Build and maintain a network of internal and external stakeholders to foster future business opportunities.
- Coordinate early-stage transaction execution and liaise with product specialists across lending, capital markets, advisory, and risk solutions.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience in international wholesale banking, either in corporate credit & banking, leveraged lending, capital markets, or corporate finance advisory.
- Strong track record in leveraged finance, acquisition finance, M&A, and corporate finance.
- Experience across Renewables, Energy or Energy Transition.
