Freight Forwarder – Leading Global Logistics Provider

Location: Hull Employment Type: Full-time | Shift work including weekends may be required

Are you passionate about logistics and international freight forwarding? A leading global logistics provider is seeking a Freight Forwarder to join their dynamic UK team and help deliver world-class supply chain solutions to customers across the globe.

The Role

As a Freight Forwarder, you’ll be at the heart of operations, ensuring smooth and efficient end-to-end forwarding activities. You’ll provide excellent customer service, manage customs clearances, quotes, shipments, invoicing, and more.

Key Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end forwarding operations across Air, Sea, and Road
Ensure compliance with SOPs and KPIs
Liaise with internal and external customers and suppliers
Maintain accurate invoicing, job costing, and milestone tracking
Complete customs entries and control costs
Support month-end compliance and reporting
Assist in customer reviews and development initiatives
Operate within company QA systems and maintain a clean desk policy

What We’re Looking For

Essential:

GCSE/O Level education or equivalent
Proven experience in customer service and freight forwarding operations

Preferred:

Business-related experience
Knowledge of international logistics and transport systems
Understanding of financial impacts on business operations
Proficiency in CargoWise and MS Office

Skills & Competencies:

Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
Results-driven and quality-focused
Team-oriented with a flexible approach
Ability to work shifts, including weekends
