Finance & Operations Lead
Location: Horwich, Bolton
Salary – Up to circa £45,000 – depending on experience
We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join a growing business based in Horwich, Bolton. The ideal candidate will be someone who not only excels in accounting but also thrives in a varied role, brings an engaging personality to the team, is forward-thinking and proactive with new ideas & solutions.
You will play a crucial role in the financial operations but will also have involvement in other areas of the business, including operations management, marketing, and business development. Your versatility and willingness to take on new challenges will be highly valued.
Responsibilities:
- Produce Financial Statements including Profit and Loss Statements, Budgets, Cash Flows, Monthly Management Accounts, Variance Analysis and Commentaries.
- Oversee other aspects of Financial Operations including but not limited to Bookkeeping, Bank Reconciliations, Payroll, VAT Returns, Sales and Purchase Ledgers, Credit Control, Petty Cash and Employee Expenses.
- Support with setting company budgets and forecasts.
- Ensure compliance with all Financial Regulations.
- Monitor all emails within the Finance Inbox.
- Assist with the preparation and presentation of the Monthly Board Pack to company management.
- Assist with implementing long-term Business Strategies to achieve the company\’s objectives.
Required Skills and Experience:
