We are looking for an Assistant Product Planner who is equally commercial/analytical as product-focused; to support the Product and Ecom teams with monitoring and analysing omnichannel sales performance, owning Product Library and Critical Path, managing stock/intake levels, ensuring smooth NPD launches. We are also looking for a hungry and eager-to-learn multi-tasker who can easily adapt to trading challenges in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant Product Planner will be the go-to product trading expert and have a major impact on our continued success.
Responsibilities- Run and circulate daily/weekly/ad hoc reports, providing relevant commentary
- Provide analytical support in the development of category strategy and OTB plans
- Make recommendations for NPD/OTB and improvements to existing ranges
- Update and forecast product line cards and highlight actions/risks/opportunities
- Review line stock levels across different warehouse locations, suggesting stock transfers and replen/phasing recommendations
- Manage inventory levels across core/NOOS lines, as well as trading out of slow sellers
- Work alongside Ecommerce Team in trading and merchandising across all channels, ensuring prime product visibility, synchronised promotions, and optimised sales results (including Tiktok Lives and campaigns)
- Support Ecommerce Team with analysis on site performance, identifying levers to improve KPIs, run tests and implement improvements
- Make recommendations on promo/pricing activity
- Manage and upload accurate pricing across all channels/territories
- Own rebuys - from PO placement to intake, working closely with NPD Managers and Operations Teams
- Own the Product Library, ensuring all info is up to date and accurate
- Track NPD from conception to launch, ensuring Critical Path deadlines are met
- Manage sample inventory for photoshoots/PR/ad hoc events
- Assist to deliver the trade and marketing calendar on time, brief and maintain communication with internal teams and key stakeholders
- Work closely with Ecom Associate to track and maintain digital assets
- You bring 2-3 years of experience within Merchandising/Planning/Ecommerce
- Analytical/Numerical - confident understanding of retail maths metrics (ROS, stock cover, margin)
- Knowledge of Ecommerce trade performance metrics (conversion rate, page views, AOV, basket size)
- Knowledge of critical path and product lifecycle
- Intermediate knowledge of Excel
