A specialist Microsoft ERP consultancy is looking for a Senior D365 Finance Functional Consultant to join their growing team on a permanent basis. You’ll work closely with experienced Solution Architects on transformation programmes across the public, private, and non-profit sectors. This is a delivery-focused, client-facing role with remote working and occasional travel.
Key Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
- Strong understanding of core finance processes and ability to configure them in D365 F&O.
- Experience delivering ERP projects in service-oriented industries (public/private/non-profit).
- Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, CPA) completed or in progress.
- Experience in full lifecycle ERP implementations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable:
- D365 Finance certifications (MB-310/MB-311)
- Exposure to Power Platform or related D365 modules
- Experience with multi-country/global implementations
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Dynamics 365 F&O finance modules (GL, AP, AR, budgeting, asset management, project accounting, etc.)
- Analyse client business processes through workshops and translate needs into D365-aligned solutions.
- Configure and customise Dynamics 365 F&O to support finance operations and integration with other modules.
- Create and maintain key documentation including process flows, functional specs, and user guides.
- Lead module-specific testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Deliver training and workshops for end-users and provide mentoring to junior consultants.
- Ensure solutions meet accounting standards and industry regulations.
- Identify and implement finance process improvements and best practice solutions.
Location: Remote (UK-based) with occasional travel. Candidates must be eligible to work in this country.
