About the Role
As a Sales Development Manager, you’ll take full ownership of free trade accounts within a defined territory. Your primary focus will be driving sales growth and profitability by executing our commercial strategy across both existing and new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver volume and profit targets across a range of own-brand products
- Manage territory planning and maintain strong customer account relationships
- Proactively prospect for new business to meet growth targets
- Maximise product sales within existing accounts to achieve commercial goals
- Leverage sales promotions and marketing materials to drive demand
- Build lasting relationships with customers to foster loyalty and account growth
- Sell in investments to secure and develop long-term trading partnerships
- Represent our brand portfolio with professionalism and enthusiasm
Key Stakeholders
- External: Business owners, account stakeholders, and suppliers
- Internal: Sales, Marketing, Cellar Services, and Distribution teams
About You
Skills & Experience
- Proven track record in sales, within an on-trade environment
- Strong account management and new business development experience
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills
- Confident working with data – Excel and PowerPoint proficiency desirable
- Structured and reliable approach to sales planning
