As a Raw Materials Technologist, you\’ll be the key on-site contact for our suppliersensuring all ingredients and packaging materials meet our quality and safety standards. You\’ll be instrumental in carrying out inspections, managing non-conformances, supporting audits, and providing technical guidance to the Goods In team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect raw materials and packaging on delivery and maintain accurate intake records.
- Conduct risk assessments and technical checks, including allergen and hygiene audits.
- Liaise with suppliers to resolve quality issues and obtain certificates of analysis and documentation.
- Participate in new product feasibilities to ensure the use of food-safe materials.
- Contribute to customer complaint investigations and traceability exercises.
- Support internal and external audits and supplier site visits.

- QA experience within a food manufacturing environment, ideally with direct supplier interaction.
- Level 3 Food Safety qualification.
- Confident using SAP, Excel, and Word for data management and reporting.
- Strong understanding of ingredient/packaging conformance techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
