APEX Gaming Network (AGN) connects brands with gamers across premium game titles. AGN achieves this by being present across all gaming channels that gamers of all ages and backgrounds across the UK prefer including mobile, Cloud Gaming, PC, console, livestream and esports. We are part of the EMEA start-up of Canada’s market leading gaming network.
Reporting to the General Manager - UK, AGN is currently seeking a qualified Sales Manager who will be responsible for growing the AGN brand in the UK market while building relationships with key agency groups and clients.
The Sales Manager is responsible for growing and maintaining existing relationships with Agency Partners and Client Directs:
- Communicate AGN offerings and unique value-proposition to advertisers and agencies through in-person meetings/presentations, via email, over the phone, and through formal campaign proposals.
- Prospect new business, ensure campaign success and grow AGN’s position in the marketplace.
- Report and track all revenue including sales activity and deal pipeline through Sales CRM platform.
- Participate in industry events to build AGN’s brand presence.
Ideal sales candidate will be financially driven, highly disciplined and have a strong work ethic:
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed revenue goals and excel in a highly competitive market.
- A minimum of 3-4 years advertising sales experience. Knowledge of gaming would be a plus, but proven sales experience and relationships are more important.
- Knowledge of the digital media and the general advertising landscape.
- Demonstrated strategic, consultative and analytical sales approach, with focus on building partnerships with clients.
- Sharp business sense and resourceful.
- Strong account development, customer service and follow-up skills.
- Excellent oral, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
- Some traveling is required.
