Contract Opportunity: System Engineer (BMS) Contract (Outside IR35) I’m recruiting for an Engineering Consultancy delivering complex systems across the UK rail network — from major station rebuilds and upgrades to major transport hubs. Due to increased workload, we’re looking for a System Engineer (BMS) to support the integration of Siemens Desigo systems across a range of mechanical equipment (AHUs, VRFs, chillers, heat pumps, etc.). ️ Designing BMS integration for HVAC systems Ensuring mechanical assets support protocols like ModBus or BacNet Working closely with mechanical teams to ensure seamless connectivity Focused on systems engineering , not control algorithms ✅ Familiar with HVAC systems and how they communicate Able to identify integration risks and drive resolutions early Comfortable working independently in a contractor environment Rail experience is desirable or large infrastructure, oil and gas, data centre experience could also work Exciting pipeline of high-impact infrastructure projects Direct involvement in a prestigious project Flexible, supportive, and technically strong team Office base in Leatherhead | Contract extensions likely
