The Best Connection is looking for a Transport Planner in Skegness.

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, 7am to 5pm.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Plan 15+ vehicles daily.
  • Strategically plan vehicle routes to minimise running costs and maximise revenue.
  • Work proactively with the planning team to avoid delivery delays.
  • Collaborate with fellow planners to efficiently service our existing client base.
  • Communicate with drivers, service providers, and the Transport Manager to resolve issues like breakdowns.
  • Coordinate with the Transport Manager regarding regular vehicle maintenance schedules.
  • Work closely with Site Managers to exchange key information, including estimated arrival times (ETAs).
