Drivers Mate Tiverton, EX15 3FA Permanent 48 Hours per week. Working predominantly Monday to Friday however flexibility required to work any 5 days in a 7 day period subject to business needs. Formed out of a joint venture between Carlsberg UK and Marstons PLC, we combine over 300 years of shared values, history, and heritage in UK brewing. We are now recruiting for a Drivers Mate to join us. Reporting to the Transport Manager , this role will be responsible for supporting our drivers to deliver our stock of lagers, ales, and craft beers accurately and safely from our Tiverton depot to our customers, ensuring that each delivery is completed with excellent customer service: Key Accountabilities: Supporting the driver and warehouse teams in loading/unloading of stock. Supporting the driver with the most efficient traffic routes to help you both get to each location and back home as quickly and safely as possible. Building brilliant working relationships with your customers and other departments. Holding health and safety at the forefront of all processes. Experience and Key Attributes: Prior experience working as a drivers mate, drayman or within a warehouse desirable however not required. Full driving licence (Category B Licence) Customer service Manual handling experience and/or training desirable, however full training will be provided during induction. Knowledge of local region.
