Peacock Sourcing Ltd are currently recruiting for a Housekeeper to work for their growing client based in Southwest London. In this role you will join a newly established business that currently offers a wide range of property maintenance services to the surrounding area of Belgravia.

The ideal Housekeeper candidate should:

  • Have any previous experience working in the hotel industry, high end residential properties or similar.
  • Be welcoming, friendly and always present a professional image (Well groomed, dressed well, clear spoken, etc).
  • Be able to speak and write in good English.
  • Be well organised and have excellent time keeping.
  • Act on self-initiative and act independently.
  • Be punctual, arrive to work on time.
  • Be currently registered as self-employed or at least be willing to become so.
  • Currently live in London and be able to start ASAP.

Working Hours: 20 – 25 hours per week (no set hours, this will be discussed at the interview when discussing client needs and experience level) 25 – 30min break.

Pay: £12.30 - £14 Per Hour (Pay is based on experience level).

Duties: As a Housekeeper you will be expected to:

  • Clean down surfaces (Dusting, vacuuming and mopping).
  • Maintain Kitchen and bathroom facilities by keeping them clean.
  • Laundry tasks (Washing, folding and ironing).
  • Making beds and changing the linen.
  • Organising and decluttering spaces on the property.
  • Answer the door and greet guests or accept deliveries.
  • Run small errands (Picking up groceries, dry cleaning).
  • Restocking cleaning supplies.
  • Prepare meals (This is completely optional).
  • Report any maintenance issues.
  • Clean and maintain outdoor areas such as the patios and entryways.
  • Childcare assistance (This is completely optional).

This contract is open ended as the business is rapidly expanding and ramping up work over the coming year meaning there are significant opportunities for development inside the business. To reiterate personal presentation is incredibly important for this role and is a crucial aspect of this position.
