Bar Assistant / Food and Beverage Staff with excellent customer service, organisational and time management skills, who is professionally well-groomed, is required for a well-established and prestigious private members club based in South West London.

SALARY: £12.70 per hour + Benefits (see below)

LOCATION: South West London (SW15) – Candidates MUST live within a commutable distance to South West London SW15

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for a Bar Assistant / Food and Beverage Staff with excellent customer service, organisational and time management skills, who is professionally well-groomed.

Working as a Bar Assistant / Food and Beverage Staff you will be required to deliver exceptional customer service, creating 100%-member satisfaction and exceeding expectations.

As a Bar Assistant / Food and Beverage Staff you will participate in the day to day operation of the F&B Department with the focus on the Bar operation.

DUTIES

Your duties as aBar Assistant / Food and Beverage Staff will include:

• Create 100%-member satisfaction through providing a 'yes I can’ attitude and exceeding members expectations

• Ensure adherence to set standards for all Food & Beverage and club service and cleanliness

• To be able to serve Food & Beverage and contribute to upselling as and when possible, following the clubs 8 steps of service

• Duties required for the smooth running of the bar stocking up, stock rotation, beer line cleaning, pre & post service preparation

• Attend daily pre-shift meetings to discuss the days upcoming events in detail, special requests, and product development

• Ensure that all storage areas and still rooms are cleaned and inspected on a regular basis

• Handle cash and take payments for goods in accordance with Club procedures

• Ensure adherence to all legislative and company fire, health and safety & security guidelines

• Actively participate in departmental meetings

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Whilst full training will be given the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• Prior experience of working in a bar environment

• Personable attitude with a presentable appearance

• Good time management skills

• Willingness to be part of a team, whilst using own initiative as and when required

• Thorough understanding of Health & Safety and hygiene practices at work
