Overview of the Role:
A fantastic opportunity has arisen in the RHS Venues Department to join the small and highly motivated Sales Team as the Event Sales Manager (RHS Venues). As a pivotal role in the department, the Event Sales Manager will focus on generating new business, leading on the customer sales journey and marketing of the RHS' private events portfolio; selling weddings, parties, conferences, commercial filming and more, across all RHS Gardens!
Event Sales Manager key accountabilities:
- To lead on the proactive and reactive sales of the private and commercial events portfolio across all RHS Gardens; from initial enquiry, through the sales process to contracted confirmation.
- To develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive event enquiries, conversions and new business.
- To achieve monthly sales targets feeding into the wider RHS Venues team revenue.
- To develop new event packages through market trend and insight, continuously looking to improve the private and commercial event offer across all sites.
- To build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring excellent customer experience throughout.
- To lead on operational delivery of events when required during peak periods.
- To manage a small team, focussing on growth and development.
