Peaple Talent have partnered with a renewing client looking to recruit a Lead Finance Analyst on a 6 month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will look to provide technical leadership to a team of finance analysts and help to optimise their Finance Platforms. You will focus on helping to create a supportive and high-performing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of a high-performing team equipped to drive digital value through Finance platforms.
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to shape the strategic direction of Finance platforms, set clear priorities, and ensure alignment with broader business goals.
- Work across functions to deliver both major transformation initiatives and continuous improvements throughout the full development lifecycle – tracking the impact on user experience and key business metrics.
- Take ownership of the platform’s day-to-day performance, defining success metrics and reporting on results.
- Provide leadership and subject matter expertise in areas such as user support, process design, system documentation, issue resolution, UAT coordination, and ensuring the platform remains audit compliant.
- Develop strong relationships with platform partners like Oracle.
Key Experience Required:
- Experience in building and mentoring high-performing, collaborative teams where people feel valued and motivated.
- Hands-on expertise with Oracle systems and modules, particularly within Finance, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Workflow areas.
- Skilled in supporting and analysing Oracle Fusion R12 environments, ideally with experience using call logging or ticketing systems for issue tracking.
- Strong technical foundation in Oracle databases and development tools.
- Comfortable with user acceptance testing (UAT) processes and ensuring quality throughout delivery.
- Proven success in delivering innovation and continuous improvement across platforms and products, with measurable outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex technology projects from initial design through to build, testing, go-live, and post-implementation review.
- Established effective relationships with third-party SaaS providers.
