Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services ( www.protecnium.com/en ). We are currently looking for a Design & Build Engineer to join our team for an airport construction project. Estimated duration of the position: 36-48 months – In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give them continuity. Responsibilities: Develop and oversee detailed designs for building and civil engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements. Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to establish design parameters, timelines, and construction methodologies. Perform structural calculations, materials selection, and feasibility studies to support efficient and cost-effective design solutions. Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure alignment with design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols. Review and modify design documents based on field observations and construction progress, providing technical support to resolve issues as they arise. Manage design revisions and updates throughout the project lifecycle, coordinating with subcontractors and construction teams. Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications, and communicate project updates and design changes to stakeholders. Ensure adherence to environmental and sustainability standards in all phases of design and construction. Utilize advanced design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D, for drafting, modeling, and optimizing design plans. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Industrial Engineering. Minimum of 3 years of experience in building and heavy civil construction projects. Experience designing and supervising on-site project designs. Proficiency in English at a C1 level. Legal authorisation to work in the UK. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D. Benefits: Travel at the beginning and end of the project.
