We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrically Biased Catering Engineer to join our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial catering equipment, with a strong emphasis on electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service, repair, and maintain commercial catering equipment, including ovens, grills, dishwashers, and combi ovens.
- Diagnose electrical faults and carry out effective repairs.
- Conduct planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and emergency breakdown response.
- Install new catering equipment and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- Maintain accurate service records and complete job sheets.
- Communicate effectively with clients and provide excellent customer service.
- Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
- 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification.
- Experience working on commercial catering equipment is highly desirable.
- COMCAT qualifications (1, 3, 5) are an advantage but not essential.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
