Job Title: Multi-Site HR Manager Location: Bredbury / Helsby (occasional travel to sites in Bolton, Wellingborough and Rotherham) Salary: circa £45,000 – 50,000 per annum FTE Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (Part Time option of 25-30 Hours available) Working Hours: 38 hours per week site based Monday to Friday (we could accommodate hrs over a 4 days week) This is an onsite role, you will be expected to be onsite across the week Monday to Friday (there is the option of occasional working from home) About us: Heat Trace is part of the Global NIBE Group, part of NIBE Element (the world’s largest element manufacturer) and represents NIBE in the UK as one of over 60 Group companies that are based all over the world. Heat Trace is a manufacturing and engineering company with our headquarters and main manufacturing unit in Helsby Cheshire, we also have two manufacturing facilities at Bredbury, Stockport. The prime activity of the business is the manufacture of highly technical heating cables for use predominantly in the oil and gas and advanced processing industries. About the Role: We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team as HR Manager initially to work across our sites at Heat Trace but with future plans to expand the remit across our other UK group businesses. To provide strong HR generalist expertise as part of the senior management team working closely with Managers on all aspects of HR from recruitment and selection, employee relations, learning and development and engagement. You will be great at solving problems who can be trusted in resolving challenging situations, continually driving forward best practice and ensuring compliance with all group procedures, policies and employment legislation. About you: Key Requirements: Working closely with the management teams you will support on all areas of HR including performance management, disciplinary and grievance and absence management. You’ll have experience in working collaboratively with all levels of a business building confidence in managers to take more ownership of day to day HR issues. You’ll also need to be analytical and comfortable with monthly reporting and managing our HR systems. You’ll be flexible in your approach to work, travel to different sites is a must depending on HR requirements. As a minimum: Experience of HR Management in a growing business Some multi site experience – ideally in a manufacturing environment Experience of coaching managers in delivering HR related activities Able to take a very hands on approach with administration, but also thinking operationally and strategically Up to date and comprehensive knowledge of HR best practice and employment legislation Excellent communication skills Full UK driving licence with the flexibility to travel where needed Preferred: CIPD level 5, or working towards/equivalent experience Previous experience in a standalone HR generalist role What we can offer you: 25 days holiday plus bank holiday Pension scheme Cycle to work scheme Cash Health Plan Company bonus Employee Assistance Programme Learning and Development Opportunities No agencies.
