The company’s mission is to provide expert technical design support for new product development and deliver consistently high-quality products on time.
We are currently seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our client's expanding team. In this role you will be responsible for the safety and quality of our clients’ products through various procedures and inspections, implementation of quality control measures and identifying areas for improvement. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, drive continuous improvements and contribute to manufacturing components that will exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background and experience of a similar role within Quality and have a proactive mindset.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain ISO9001 requirements
- Maintain ISO14001 requirements
- Engage in NPI activities
- Ensure compliance to customer specifications
- Conduct process and product audits periodically
- Manage and resolve customer, supplier and internal non-conformances
- Generate process-related SOPs, quality alerts PFMEAs, control plans etc.
- Support with product trials
- Develop and report on COPQ within the business
- Customer facing
- Oversee internal/external customer engineering changes
- Maintain business KPIs
- Ability to adapt within the business
- Issue PPAP and relevant documentation as and when required
- Health and Safety and First Aid responsibilities

- Salary £29,000 - £40,000 depending on experience
