A1 Personnel are currently recruiting for a Van Driver for a permanent contract on behalf of our client based in Basildon.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the collection and delivery of tools, materials, and equipment between the company’s warehouse, suppliers, and job sites across the region
- Ensure correct and safe loading of equipment/materials before transportation
- Clear sites of equipment and waste materials for appropriate disposal
- Assist with general logistical and operational support as needed
- Occasional long-distance driving required
Requirements:
- Full clean UK Driving Licence (mandatory)
- Must be aged 25 or over (insurance requirement) and have at least 2 years’ driving experience
- Comfortable driving both short and long wheelbase vans
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Physically fit and capable of moving heavy equipment
- Good knowledge of safe loading practices and efficient route planning
- CSCS card desirable but not essential
