The role of a Health and Safety Specialist is to oversee the delivery of health, safety and environmental risk strategy. This includes the implementation of ISO certified safety and environmental management systems.
Responsibilities include:
- Serving as Subject Matter Expert for health and safety, environmental risk, and safety culture.
- Ownership of company health and safety policies, training, and audit regimes.
- Leading positive relationships and dialogue with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensuring that all incidents and accidents are fully investigated.
