For Companies Our client is a global freight forwarding and logistics company specialising in air freight, sea freight, road freight and contract logistics. We are now recruiting for a Sea Freight Exports Coordinator based in Wythenshawe.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, and carriers to arrange shipping schedules, negotiate rates, and handle all necessary documentation.
- Prepare and process shipping and customs documentation using Cargowise and ASM Sequoia.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and trade compliance policies.
- Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to customers and stakeholders on the status of their cargo.
- Manage multiple shipments simultaneously while ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
Experience needed:
- Experience of working within ocean freight forwarding exports.
- Knowledge of export procedures.
- Customs regulations including national and international shipping documentation.
- The ability to effectively build excellent working relationships and interact professionally with customers, suppliers, and colleagues.
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary £28,000 to £33,000 depending on experience.
