You will be working for an award-winning, growing National Property Developer with offices in Canary Wharf and Braintree. They are dedicated to delivering innovative and sustainable projects and they pride themselves on their collaborative approach and commitment to excellence. Their development team operate in two markets, National Property Development & Civils. They purchase old commercial properties and refurbish them into residential properties through Permitted Development. Their Civils teams provide civil engineering solutions for the Construction & Telecoms industries. They are successful, financially stable and growing consistently, due to this growth they are seeking a talented Project Coordinator to join their expanding company.
As the Project Coordinator you will play a crucial role in supporting their planning, execution, and delivery of property development projects.
As the Property Project Coordinator your key responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the planning and execution of property development projects from inception through to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate design development and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate project schedules, resources, and documentation, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
- Monitor project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or delays promptly.
- Prepare and maintain project reports, meeting minutes, and other documentation to track progress and communicate updates to the team and stakeholders.
- Facilitate communication between internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth project execution.
- Support budget management by tracking expenses and assisting with financial reporting.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, presentations, and bids.
To be considered for the Property Project Coordinator opportunity, you will ideally:
- Live within a reasonable distance of Braintree.
- Have your own transport due to their office being on the outskirts of Braintree.
- Have some demonstrable experience in property development.
- Have some experience in the design stages, as you will coordinate various project activities to ensure timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Be organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Project.
- Have some knowledge of building regulations and industry standards is desirable.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. Unfortunately, they are unable to offer hybrid, part-time, or remote working.
