About the Role We are looking for a proactive and service-driven individual to join our dynamic Support Centre team, providing essential coordination and communication for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) operations. You\’ll be working in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment where no two days are the same—ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and high levels of customer satisfaction. This role is pivotal in managing live fleet support activities including breakdown recovery, service coordination, delay investigations, and customer liaison. You will serve as the central point of contact between customers, technicians, and internal departments to keep ground operations moving smoothly and safely. Key Responsibilities * Monitor and manage all GSE service-level agreements, coordinating prompt resolution plans where needed. * Communicate status updates, recovery actions, and service issues with customers and internal stakeholders. * Oversee and log incident and delay investigations, ensuring timely resolution and customer feedback. * Manage job allocation, technician scheduling, and breakdown coordination, including arranging vehicle recovery or workshop transfer. * Maintain real-time updates of all service requests, faults, and job statuses in SAP and other internal systems. * Liaise with subcontractors and manufacturers, handling warranty claims, repair authorisations, and parts procurement. * Maintain complete and accurate service records, including job costs, completion dates, and communications. * Proactively escalate safety incidents and operational risks to senior coordinators or management. * Respond promptly to all incoming calls and customer queries, ensuring issues are logged and resolved within service KPIs. * Collaborate closely with the wider operations and maintenance teams to ensure asset readiness and availability. * Produce daily service reports and contribute to continuous improvement and ISO compliance activities. What We’re Looking For Essential Skills & Experience: * Previous experience in fleet, service coordination, or vehicle maintenance environments. * Strong communication and customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset. * Working knowledge of workshop operations, vehicle maintenance cycles, and defect reporting. * Experience with administrative systems such as SAP, Outlook, and Microsoft Excel. * Proven ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure in time-sensitive situations. * Good understanding of health and safety practices in operational or fleet support settings. Desirable: * Experience in warranty management or liaising with OEMs/manufacturers. * Familiarity with ISO 9001/14001/OHSAS18001 systems.
