You'll be advising across both mortgages and protection, with the option to focus more heavily on protection depending on your strengths.Mortgage and Protection Broker Key Responsibilities
- Advise on a full range of mortgage and protection products to a wide variety of clients
- Work leads provided by the business and self-generate where possible
- Manage the full mortgage and protection process from enquiry to completion
- Maintain a high level of compliance and customer service
- Collaborate with internal admin support to streamline case management
- Build lasting client relationships to encourage repeat and referral business
Mortgage and Protection Broker Package
- Hybrid model: 3 days a week in the Islington office (flexible for experienced brokers)
- All leads provided
- Self-employed: uncapped tiered commission structure 40% > 70% Commission
- Employed option: £30k basic + 20% commission
- Case size average: £400k
- 3:1 admin support
- Mobile phone, laptop, and all tools provided
- No Friday office requirement
Skills and Experience Required
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mortgage and/or Protection Broker
- Experience within a brokerage or estate agency setting is highly desirable
- CeMAP (or equivalent) qualified
- Proven track record of closing mortgage or protection business
- Highly motivated, ambitious, and client-focused
- Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
