Marketing Lead

Marketing Lead Salary: £40,000 Location: Kilburn, NW6 Hours: 8am – 5pm We’re looking for a proactive and organised Marketing Lead to join a growing builders merchant team in Kilburn. You’ll work closely with two team members and report to the Head of Marketing, playing a key role in delivering impactful campaigns and keeping our marketing activity aligned with our business goals. Responsibilities * Coordinate marketing projects from idea to execution — managing stakeholders, timelines, and progress * Lead marketing planning for key business initiatives, including new service launches and milestone events * Create and maintain a clear, strategic 12-month promotions calendar in collaboration with branches and product teams * Support digital marketing activity, identifying opportunities to improve SEO, social media, email, and web performance * Brief and manage internal and external designers, copywriters, and printers * Get hands-on when needed, creating graphics, social media posts, email layouts, and other creative assets * Monitor campaign results, reporting key insights to help us improve continuously * Ensure all marketing activity stays aligned with wider business objectives Requirements * Previous experience in a similar project-led marketing role * Solid understanding of digital marketing channels, email, social, SEO, and web * Confidence in creating project plans and keeping teams on track * Familiarity with marketing tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Klaviyo, Meta Business Suite, WordPress, or similar * Proactive, can-do attitude, someone who spots what needs doing and gets stuck in * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Office based position with some travel between our branches when needed (flexibility with working pattern will be considered) Nice to Have: * Experience in trade or retail environments * Working knowledge of analytics tools like GA4 or social media insights
