About the Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will take ownership of new business acquisition across key verticals, particularly general manufacturing and food & beverage. You will identify opportunities, connect with key stakeholders from manager to C-suite, and craft tailored solutions that solve real-world problems using their real-time monitoring technology. You’ll work closely with their technical team to assess client needs and deliver compelling demonstrations, while also building a healthy pipeline in their CRM, driving leads to conversion, and ensuring ongoing client satisfaction.
About You:
- Prior experience in a Business Development function for a Saas business
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience working across multiple verticals, ideally including manufacturing
- Confident cold caller with a structured, strategic approach
- Comfortable selling to both operational managers and C-level executives
- Proficient in CRM systems
- Experience with Real-Time monitoring technology and software would be a plus
Location: Manchester – 2-3 days/week in the office, 2-3 days/week travelling and meeting clients.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £45,000.00–£55,000.00 per year + uncapped commission (OTE of £100,000+)
