Thrive Personnel Ltd are looking for experienced packers/factory labourers to join a busy manufacturing business in Featherstone. In this role you will be responsible for packing products, loading and unloading materials and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires working on a rotating shift schedule, including days and nights.
Responsibilities:
- Pack products according to company standards and customer specifications
- Inspect products for defects and ensure quality standards are met
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers
- Move materials and products to designated areas within the factory
- Operate packing and loading equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- Ability to lift items on a repeated basis
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to work on a rotating shift schedule, including days and nights
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is a plus
