The Opportunity:

ISR are working with a high-profile client on a cutting-edge programme and are looking to engage a skilled Geospatial Platform Engineer to support the ongoing development, optimisation and deployment of scalable geospatial platforms. You’ll be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports powerful geospatial analysis and services – enabling the delivery of complex data insights at scale.

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure or GCP) and container orchestration tools (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker)
  • Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation)
  • Experience managing geospatial tools/platforms such as MapLibre, Mapbox and CesiumJS or similar technologies
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g. Python, Bash) and working knowledge of APIs and microservices

Security Clearance:

Candidates must be eligible to pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) checks.
